McArthur - Dominic DeSantis
The "McArthur" band is the offspring of "The So-Called Arthur Kings" (TSCAK) band and husband and wife duo, "McHanIx".

TSCAK started as a trio consisting of guitarist/vocalist Gib Heuett, saxophone player extraordinaire Jack Crouse, and keyboard/guitarist /vocalist Terry Wolf, primarily playing early pop / rock from the 60's and 70's.

Allen and Laura McHan perform as "McHanIx", playing acoustic arrangements of popular songs from country, bluegrass, and pop rock artists.

Following the merger of the two groups to form "McArthur", the band added drummer/vocalist Glenn Botkin and bass player John Rafferty. With the expanded musician lineup came an expansion of the group's repertoire, now covering popular songs across multiple genres from the 50's to today.

Dominic is a well known solo musician and instructor in Lilburn.

The Classic City German Polka Band, The McArthurs & Dynamic Range
The German Polka Band was founded in 2007 by Dr. Jim Heyl, a retired UGA professor who joined the Classic City Band in 1977. The group performs fast waltzes and polkas, and works under the leadership of Ed Schwartz. Ed collected many music scores for German brass Oktoberfest bands while stationed in the armed forces there. With 20 musicians, give or take, they barely need any amplification to provide an authentic brass sound.

Dynamic Range will lead us through some of our favorite traditional German songs in both German and English, some classic 50s slow dance tunes, some early Beatles, and other surprises from their musty treasure chest. And McArthur will provide more modern variety.

There are lots of moving parts to the evening, and times may shift, but below is the rough plan:

4:30 - 5:30The Classic City German Polka Band
5:45 - 6:45Dynamic Range
7:00 - 8:00The Classic City German Polka Band
8:15 - 9:00McArthur
