Cumberland Dance Week helps musicians grow in several different ways. You can watch and listen and talk to outstanding dance musicians. You are welcome to sit-in at all stages. Opportunities to exist to jam throughout the day. Our fireside times provide a venue to share your own music. The Dance Band class provides instruction and experience in playing together as a band and working with a caller. It encourages first-time musicians to get over their fears of playing onstage. Come experience the incredible energy that comes from playing live for dancers. There are specific in-depth workshops for some instruments.
